![]() WTF?! Moment of the day Unity 2021.1.15f1: + Optimize Mesh Data "enabled" / "disabled" + Strip Engine Code "enabled" / "disabled" ![]() + Compression Fallback "enabled" / "disabled" + Api Compatibility Level ".Net Standard 2.0" Sorry to necro this thread ongoing since 2015 but I also do have jsStackTrace and wasm-function errors starting today. ![]() (in this point, I have not change anything in the files given from Unity) So this solution works well. In the iframe, i just open the Unity generated index file and it shows the game inside the iframe without problems. This all works perfectly in the game and via the index file created during conversion to WebGL platform game, I can send parameters to the game and it works with those "setups".However I have managed to encounter the above error when trying to integrate the game int to our system.įirst I tried to do it with by putting the tags in to our systems running init.js file which executes function creating the iframe in the html. The thing is that our game needs to take parameters as "setups" from our system and use them in the game and when game is done, send something back with callback function. Our team is trying to integrate Unity game in to our own system built and coded with Vaadin, Java and Javascript. We ultimately worked around the issue by reworking our infrastructure to avoid emitting that source map.įailed to get source map: RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceededĪt getSourceMapUrl getRawSourceMap step Object.I'm currently trying to solve above problem in our educational game project and I have come to a dead end with searching solutions all around internet. The bug was not reproducible using the same string and pattern in a REPL, so some environmental factor in the Node process that Next spawns to handle HMR has a different configuration. Our impression is that something in V8 internals tries to allocate stack memory in some integer proportion to the length of the repeating sequence in the regexp and that this is hitting some V8 check in RegExpMatchFast and causing a fatal error in V8. With the Node debugger paused at this point, passing in the first 4,194,285 characters of the offending string would consistently trip RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded and passing in the first 4,194,284 would work consistently very quickly. This was traced down to the regexp match check with pattern /+\n?|\n/g in the vendored webpack within Next 11.1.2 running over a string that included a ~2^22-length encoded sourcemap that didn't include a newline. We saw the same symptoms where the error would present only on Node 16 and work fine on Node 14. I can't repro this unfortunately, so I'm looking for troubleshooting steps to further isolate the error.īeta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback. This has been fine for a few months now and only started happening frequently (about once a day) in the last 2 weeks. Is there some way I can get the full stack? next/ node_modules/ and re-installing doesn't work either, but restarting my laptop does. ![]() I don't see any other logs, so I'm not entirely sure if this is a Next.js issue or some dependency.
